You will notice a column heading of NNT. This column will indicate if your representative is for or against ANY new taxes. Incumbents will be coded based on their voting history. If an incumbent has abstained or gone on record as ''Present but not voting'', No New Taxes will indicate that as FOR new taxes. Candidates are voted into office to represent us and to make decisions.

Candidate has indicated the he or she is totally opposed to any new taxes and has no record of voting for any new taxes.
Candidate has indicated that he or she is currently opposed to any new taxes, but will not completely rule them out.
Candidate has indicated the he or she is for new taxes, will consider all their options, abstained when a vote for new taxes has come up, or has a record of voting for new taxes.
It is unknown at this time as to whether the candidate is opposed to any new taxes. No New Taxes is still investigating.
